Inactive Ingredients
Paraffin wax pastilles, ethylcellulose, triethyl citrate, colloidal silicon dioxide, and magnesium stearate. White tablets also contain polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol 3350, and talc. Yellow tablets also contain polyvinyl alcohol, talc, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol, D&C Yellow No. 10 aluminum lake, and FD&C Yellow No. 6 aluminum lake
Indications and Usage
Potassium chloride extended-release tablets are indicated for the treatment and prophylaxis of hypokalemia with or without metabolic alkalosis, in patients for whom dietary management with potassium-rich foods or diuretic dose reduction is insufficient.
