Inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, and titanium dioxide. In addition to this the 80 mg contains iron oxide red.
Indications and Usage
Valsartan Tablet, USP is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) indicated for: • Treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions • Treatment of heart failure (NYHA class II to IV); valsartan tablets, USP significantly reduced hospitalization for heart failure
